      Hi Beth
Thank you for your interest. A woman in Boston asked me about going there, before Christmas, but I haven’t heard back from her. I am also waiting to hear back from people in NYC, St Paul – MN, Chicago and Denver CO and Manchester NH about workshops. I will definitely be in Atlanta Georgia July 13-14 and Lacis Berleley SFO July 31 – August 3. I will be posting workshops here and on my facebook page -Clones Lace Workshops – as I am confirmed!

      Hi Karen
I will post the details about Orvieto et Lago Trasimeno classes on this blog, on Facebook and on Ravelry, when I know them. Yes they will be available to English speakers, as I have very little Italian!:)It’s great that you are interested. I’d love to meet you in person. We have been crossing each others paths online for a while now!

        Hi Karen

Thank you for your emails re the Orvieto and Trasimeno classes. If you don’t hear from me soon, remind me again. I need to talk to Loretta about it! Early September would suit me too! Btw, where do you live?

Hello! I am so excited about the possibility of you bringing a class to the Boston area. I was trying to encourage a store here in Maine called Halcyon Yarn to invite you to come to Maine for a class. Halcyon Yarns is a nationally known yarn store and would be a great venue for a class. I will continue to check out your site here for updates on your proposed trip the the U.S. East coast! Thank you for all your inspirations!

      Hi Caroline
I would love to come to the Boston area for a class, but so far, nobody has really invited me! One woman did
talk about inviting me to a LYS in Boston, before Christmas, but nothing has happened since. You sound like you might be prepared to organise something for me! I am working on my schedule at present and would love to start off in Boston and NYC at the end of June, beginning of July. I will by in Atlanta Georgia 13-15 July, then Denver, Chicago… ending up in Lacis, Berkeley SFO July 31st- August 3rd.

        Hello,

Unfortunately, it looks like Halcyon will not be able to host a summer 2013 workshop. So, I will keep fingers crossed for a Dorchester, Boston area class and I will travel to that.

Hope the Northeast of the USA can be a site!

I’ve got some questions about organizing requirements:
    Assumption :
You are travelling from Ireland to New England, USA region
There is a Potential here if we can help you here on the East Coast:

The problem I’m having is that not many people do thread crochet, and even less
do any sort of Irish Crochet but I’m willing to do some legwork/scouting around .
Boston/Mancheter/Maine – End of June, Early July

    Atlanta Georgia 13-15 July
    Colorado
rest of time would be travelling westward toward California Lasis July 31 – Aug 3

    Here are my questions:

    *What arrangements do you require?

    *Class site ( New England).
    *Class size.
    * Class Fee
    *Texts,videos

    Status:
I’ve got a call out to New Englang Quilt Museum – Fiber arts destination, Lowell MA
Asking for interest in class or referral to site

    Starting to stab around…..

    Hi Jeanne
I was chatting to you on my gmail account, so I won’t repeat myself here! Thank you for all your hard work. I hope something happens, but I’m confident it will!
We can post the dates when we firm them up, for everybody else to see. I look on my gmail account a few times a day, so it’s better to discuss dates and venues there until we have some news for everybody else!:)

Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance is interested in having me for
      the weekend of July 13-15!

      Hi Mary
I have already been speaking to you today. As I said you are welcome to come along to the Clones Lace Summer Workshop this weekend. I did ask in Roslea, where Irish Crochet is also done. When I looked at the photos of the top, it is not traditional Irish Crochet, but we’ll get a better idea if we see it tomorrow night.

  16. Hello Maire~ I signed up for your master class at Lacis and now I am having troubles making it fully happen (I live in Richmond, VA). This makes me quite ill to think of not going but I need to give them notice very soon and also I am wondering if there is room yet in your two day class in Atlanta in July that I might sign up for. This would be more realistic for me. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thank you kindly~ Jennifer Stumpf — jennstumpf@yahoo.com

      Hi Jennifer
They were still vacancies for the Atlanta workshop the last time I was talking to them, so I’m sure it would still be okay. Tell them you were talking to me if there is a problem! though I don’t think there will be. Do you have the email address, or do you need me to get it for you!
Sorry that you wont be able to make Lacis, but good that you might make Atlanta!

Hello Marie, I have seen your beautiful work in magazines and on websites. A friend and I will be traveling to Hampton Court Palace next summer (2014) to take a class at the school of needlework there. Do you offer any classes in that area? I don’t think that we will have time to make it to Ireland. Thank you!

    Hi Marie,
I just discovered your blog last night. I am very interested in learning about Clones Irish Lace. I have pieces framed that my great aunt made. She was the one who taught me to crochet. Last year I was over in Ireland to attend my cousin’s wedding. I was able to visit the Carrickmacross Lace Gallery. My family is from Dundalk.I live in Northeren New Jersey and would love to take a class. All the best, Maeve

      Hi Maeve
I have just returned from a tour of the States. I was in Atlanta GA, Denver CO, Seattle WA, ending up in Lacis Berkeley SFO.
Do you want to come to Ireland to a workshop or would you like to come to a workshop near you?
I will probably be in the States in March – April and July 2014.
I’m not sure where I will be, but look into my Clones Lace Blog every now and then and I will post where I will be. I also have a page on facebook – Clones lace Workshops facebook page and on Ravelry – Máire Treanor Irish Crochet Ravelry Page.
      Great to see your interest!

I have just discovered your blog and I am fascinated! I would love to attend one of your classes. My husband and I may be in Dublin, Ireland the last week of November. Are you by chance having any classes that week? If not Dublin, anywhere near there? I am an avid crocheter and would love to learn from you!

      Hi Julie
at present I am in Italy researching my next book! I didn’t bring my diary with me, but since I came here I have been invited to attend a craftfair in Newry County Down November 28-29. I will also be in the Constant Knitter in Dublin in November, but I think, off hand, it is Saturday November 15. I could take you for a private class if you were interested in that option.
I can give you more details if you email me again. I will be back in Ireland after September 20th!
